A mainstay of the Halifax music scene, the Bearly's Blues Jam has been in operation for decades, and has been fertile ground for the growth of a vibrant community of players, young and old, and of every skill level. Through its years, the Jam played a crucial role in the development of some of our best players. It gives the opportunity to younger, inexperienced musicians to play with veterans of the trade, including a fantastic house band fronted by Andrew Gillis (harp, vocals), held together by Gary Potts (drums) and Morrow Scott Brown (bass), featuring a weekly guest soloist.

The openness of the Blues Jam gives way to a very spontaneous weekly show. Who knows who'll show up!
